Great website on civil servants, doctors, etc. who abuse parking privileges.
Example: cop parks his $70,000 Corvette on River Terrace at Warren Street. Parks in the exact same spot for 14 months. Uses his unmarked car to hold his spot when he takes his Vette out. In the above picture, said Vette with car cover that hasn’t been moved since before last months’s storm cannot possibly be on ‘official police duty.’

Sundays in the Car With George

Used to be some Sunday parking in the city. Now Sunday spots are scarcer than a cheap 1-bedroom. In November, 2005, the City Council, the wisest of our elected bodies, passed Local Law 669, stating that no longer would meters have to be fed on Sundays. Supposedly, council members reasoned, churchgoers wouldn’t have to interupt god to feed meters. SUV vs. SUV

Next to public spats between married people, Recharger loves public spats over parking. This one happened on Third Avenue between 21st and 22nd Streets. Fat guy stood in space, reserving it for a friend. Fat lady with SUV took exception.
